There are a variety of applications where FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy are employed to examine how samples change with respect to time, temperature, or other phenomena. For making measurements on materials where chemical features change or evolve over time, OMNIC Series software adds powerful data collection and processing capabilties to OMNIC Professional software to better characterize and understand these changes.
Configure the Experiment
OMNIC Series puts experimental control right at your fingertips, with intuitive command over the spectrometer's true power. The software can be quickly configured for 'standard' experiments (such as simple GC-IR, TGA-IR, and kinetics measurements) as well as more complex experiments using timed and triggered events to optimize the experimental conditions and obtain the most meaningful data.
Extract Information
Multiple user-defined time profiles can be created in real-time during data collection and in post-collection reprocessing using a number of calculation methods including Gram-Schmidt Reconstruction (GSR), chemigram, peak area or height and even using TQ Analyst quantitation methods. With configurable time profiles, OMNIC Series can extract the hidden chemical information in the data to give the analyst a complete picture of the changes that occurred.
Visualize the Data
The OMNIC Series software includes a number of specialized 2D and 3D display options that can be used to reveal information on even the smallest molecular transformations. The fully configurable data visualization tools give complete control over viewing and data interaction, vastly simplifying the process of working with very large data sets.
Analyse the Results
As a fully integrated add-on application, OMNIC Series software gives you access to the extensive set of data processing and analysis functions of the OMNIC Professional Software performing calculations on whole time-series, or just an indivdual time profile or spectrum. In addition, the unique one-click spectral search feature in OMNIC Series, coupled with Thermo's extensive spectral libraries collections, makes it easy to identify material components from a selected FT-IR or Raman spectrum within the data set.
The OMNIC Series software can be easily configured for environments that require compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
