The unique Calibrated Validation Unit (CVU) fits in both M and S Series spectrometers and carries out an automated series of Operational Qualification tests to validate instrument performance. A series of certified refence filters test a number of functions, including wavelength accuracy, photometric accuracy and stability, deuterium background correction accuracy and some hardware functions.

The Validatorplus Accessory consists of an automated Calibrated Validation Unit (CVU) that contains a set of traceable and certified filters, together with the OQ software program to control it.
