Due to the devastation of Hurricane Ike on the Houston area we have decided to postpone the October 2nd seminar. We appreciate your understanding and will update this site with any developments regarding re-scheduling.Learn from the Experts!
FT-IR spectroscopy has long been used for vapor phase monitoring. There has been a recent surge in popularity due to industrial and environmental concerns over air quality and pollution controls. FT-IR has the unique advantage of being able to measure and monitor large numbers of organic species simultaneously. For these, and many other reasons, FT-IR is an excellent choice for Gas Phase studies. Gas phase analysis does have its pros and cons. During this seminar, the requirements for designing workable procedures will be covered. We will look at the common pitfalls and reveal tricks of the trade that will make gas phase experiments easier to setup and maintain. Regardless of your interest in vapor phase FT-IR analysis, this seminar will be an productive way to spend your time.
